I Adam W co-designed, all original ONIX AUDIO @ WIKI namedproducts - OA20-OA21- OA24- OA401 -OA601 -OA801 and the original ONIX AUDIO range from 1984. I did this when I was a teenager . I was behind the screwless aluminium case work, and all production processes ,materials & costing integrity.
I am a diverse person that has haters and admirers alike . In essence its a compliment, if people don’t like you. It means you stood up for your beliefs and made it known . Weaker people don’t like that . I believe its what it takes to make stuff happen . People scream negativity in todays social media junkyard of faceless individuals.

Production engineering is my passion, put in all ONIX OA21 amps since day one. The models that built ONIX to a household name in past years . ONIX AUDIOis a name known the world over , for reliability and performance and was the first real British amp that built looks in to function . We set the standards in cosmetics & construction excellence . I am really proud of that reputation , its so good to know countless people appreciate my efforts . Even better how many still do .
I was responsible for the build integrity and awesome durability of ONIX AUDIO products. Such as the OA21 , OA22 the BWD 1 and everything that came out of the UK Company since , as the sole owner of ONIX AUDIO from 1985.
I am fortunate to be trained as a "clean sheet designer" which means I can design the whole product including the case work / electronics / Material Selection and manufacture processes. This is very rare now. Material technologyis one of my passions , naturally all ONIX AUDIO products are exceptional in this area, that's why they last so long and sound so musical .
I use the right parts for the job, and design them to work as one . Suppliers know what its like to have a hard time with me getting it right . Negotiation and knowledge of how is the key to everything in the world of suppliers and manufacturing. I had years to perfect this
Some Notable Achievements along the way
I am a consultant for several international companies, and have been involved in designs within their product ranges. I oversee production processes, and component / material selection to product production, for consumer & business alike - across the world .
I have designed modules for the aviation industry, and various modification requirements within systems. Including, creating a patent that is now used by a “large well known company “ building commercial aircraft we all travel in .
I entirely designed the ONIX DNA Range - ONIX DNA Ultimate - and the ONIX DNA 45/50 , as well as the awesome ONIX AUDIO - OA21 legacy.
I have worked in a training capacity for Chanel 5, and have trained others for specific jobs and Electronic engineering and use of material technology in design .
I am proud of my tenacity, integrity and laser locked focus when I want to get anything right .
I am involved in projects that interest me , and love learning each day and study until I know all there is to know about what interests me . I live is for self improvement , and improvement of my surroundings . Like me or hate me , I work to my high standards in everything. If want junk dont come to me
My Approach to all Engineering
I think all quality engineering is undervalued by normal people , Our ONIX AUDIO - DNA Ultimate / EVOLUTION took years to perfect through R & D. Not to mention the hours of listening and the huge cost of development .. Time has no substitute for perfection . Even if effort is not rewarded directly, it is in the pleasure others get .
Electronics & Materials are often misunderstood, its the art of design with component integration, knowing how components and materials work perfectly together .
Know what a human interface needs to be, as is the case and a remote we make . We make the best amps, and when our customers experience them they often tell us how good they are , that's how I feel valued . We and our genuine customers value our time and appreciate its scarcity. We don’t sell apple phones to 200 million people a month - we make a limited number of amps to the perfectionists that know why we do it
People that buy marketing, have no idea how they are the product in todays world of " Marketing is king " or "accountants running companies " with “Share price rules our lives directors “ I have integrity , and remain independent with ONIX just one of my involvements. I take a backseat most of the time these days, but still have my finger on the pulse when it comes to what we make .
